We have set up a permanent space in Kalighat where it would provide a safe space and let us conduct regular coaching classes for assisting children of sex workers with their schoolwork, as well as conduct regular telemedicine sessions among other things
Food Drives
Our food drive continues for the past two years, almost every month.
Medical Drives
We conducted our first medical camp in Kalighat on March 26, 2022. This was the first such organized camp in the community and was much appreciated.
We have continued to conduct health and medical camps on a regular basis.
Education Drives
We had our first educational assistance drive in April 2022. We distributed exercise books and pens to the children.
Also some text books were distributed to a few college going children
Accomplishments in Our First Year - 2021
Regular monthly supply of basic food rations (rice, dal, oil etc.) for a year for approximately sex-workers and their children (250 individuals).
Supply of cooked food during lockdown periods when they had no fuel to cook.
Supply of basic sanitary and health products.
Supply of reading and writing materials for the children.
